Mentor Artist

Lucy Hardie

Classmate's cloth work

I really like this piece because the cloth looks really realistic. The person uses soft edges where the cloth folds and sharp edges where the cloth needed to be distinguished from the background. The pitch black background the the cloth pop out, it is great.

Classmate's portrait

I really like this work of art because it really shows the sharp and soft edges. For example, the face and the hand up front are really detailed, and the other hand behind the big hand is less detailed like the clothes which is a shadow. The face and hands looks realistic, so it has a great anatomy. Her hands are the props, I like it. She looks semi surprised and disgusted of the thing that was in front of her. It is a really interesting work of art.
